Central California Regional Obesity Prevention Program (CCROPP) is a program dedicated to creating healthier environments that support healthy eating and active living.

In Stanislaus County, the Central California Regional Obesity Prevention Program (CCROPP) is working with schools, government officials, health care providers, community members and others to transform environments and establish new and improved policies that support healthy eating and active living.  CCROPP partners have formed a community council to help address environmental and policy challenges to healthy eating and physical activity.

Ceres Partnership for Healthy Children is improving access to healthy foods by establishing Ceres Farmers Market and increasing physical activity in our community by implementing the Walking School Bus Program which enlists volunteer parents to walk neighborhood children to school each day.  A regional CCROPP Council has been established to drive and support the work locally.

Get Involved!

You can help to create communities that support healthy eating and active living. Together we can create a healthy environment in every Stanislaus County neighborhood.
